"Established in 1985, ITV WEST Television Workshop is a resource offering experience for young people, from the age of 5 to 26, in the performance and production skills required for TV, FILM, THEATRE and RADIO.
We operate as a casting resource for producers locally, nationally and internationally.
Workshop members have auditioned for and appeared in :
FILMS (including HARRY POTTER , CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY and PENELOPE); TV (for a wide variety of ITV1 shows, CITV's THE GIBLET BOYS, Channel 4's SERVANTS and TEACHERS, BBC's CASUALTY, LITTLE BRITAIN and ROCKET MAN many more) and a wide range of RADIO, THEATRE, COMMERCIALS and MUSIC VIDEOS.
Based at ITV WEST Television in Bristol, we offer regular Workshop sessions with Drama Workshops for those interested in acting, presenting and performing and Production Skills Workshops for those interested in production and technical skills - from writing, directing and editing to lighting and sound.
We regularly produce short films and live shows to provide practical experience.
We provide the training, so you do not require any past experience or qualifications. Anyone, from 5 to 26 years old, can join.
